Closing the loop

We’re actively reviewing our product lifecycles – from materials to manufacturing to end-of-life.

We’re reducing waste by reusing 100% of our internal scrap and have set ourselves a target of quadrupling recycled content on all our products by 2025.

We’re also designing reusable packaging and are introducing an offcut recycling program.

Reducing our footprint

We’re focusing on substituting virgin resin with recycled materials in our manufacturing processes. Our significant investment in a sustainability hub in Toowoomba, QLD will centre around recycling polyethylene (PE) for use in our pipe products.

Our sites in Western Australia and Tasmania will transition to 100% renewable electricity by the end of 2025 with Vinidex sites in NSW, Victoria and QLD to follow in 2027.

We’re also part of Operation Clean Sweep – a program working towards removing plastic pellets from our waterways.

We’ve introduced EPD’s (Environmental Product Declarations) across four of our product ranges to disclose the environmental impact of our Australian-made products.
